The Atlantic Baseball Academy invites you to take your Hitting game to the next level by offering a very low player-to-coach ratio and personalized instruction focused on the development of Hitting skills and having fun!

All camp programming will be held at the Norton Diamond Indoor Soccer Complex located at 17 Myrtle Street, Stratford, PEI.

Objectives

  • Establish dynamic and powerful hitting mechanics that are simple to understand and repeat

  • Focus on improving hitting skills including driving the ball the opposite way and adjusting to the inside pitch

  • Emphasis will be placed on improving bat speed, improving ball exit speed, and hitting the ball with proper ball flight

  • Develop the mental approach to hitting to get the most out of each at bat

AREAS OF INSTRUCTIONS

  • Proper hitting stance

  • Maintaining power position when loading

  • Hitting against a firm front side

  • Full rotation through hips and backside

  • Hands are in a palm up, palm down position

  • Head stays between feet, eyes on the baseball

  • Proper weight transfer through your swing

  • Being strong at the point of contact

  • Approach at the plate

  • Become a consistent, explosive standout hitter!
